If love bombing fails to get the best of us and get us to do their will, they will then attempt to touch our sympathies as a last-ditch effort and have us pity them. To avoid doing their work, they would, in a pretence, act sick. In others, they would consciously insult themselves in an attempt to get your attention. They will complain and ask for help, saying that they have nowhere to go. They’ll repeat the cycle. When they are faced with a strong opponent, narcissists don’t play strong.
They play weak and humble to get you to trust them. They want to slowly destroy you, so they invade every sector of your world until you drop your defenses. You might have gotten them out of the ditch, but at the end of the day, they might throw you back into the ditch and go about their way without any apology. Always use restraint.
Always Be Careful
Narcissists will either pretend to fall in love with you or play the victim card while attempting to dominate you. Having achieved winning someone of your standing, in this instance you, it provides them with an extra feed to their ego because they believe that their grandeur and strength are larger. They would do that in a heartbeat and then kick you out after they had drained you of everything they could.
If they cannot control you directly and make you submit, they have only one other option: they will pretend to be your admirers and want to learn from you wherever you may be. But the narcissist has few options here. This is because you have a strong mentality.
